Once upon a time
there was a little girl who lived in Hawaii. Her earliest memories include playing in the waves, eating fresh papaya and mangos, picking plumerias, watching her beautiful auntie dance the hula, catching geckos, walking the beach with her grandpa, building sandcastles, feeling the warm sun on her face, hearing the soft sound of breaking waves as she drifted off to sleep and loving every moment with her big, beautiful family.
Even after she moved to California with her mom, dad and brother, this little girl spent every summer on the islands with her grandparents, aunties, uncles and many cousins. Every day was a “sun” day at the beach, boogie boarding, surfing, snorkeling, sailing; afternoons were filled with so many fun activities, crocheting with her aunties, making leis, waterfall hikes, shave ice and more happy memories than you can imagine.

All grown up with children of her own, she brought her young family back to the islands, year after year until they too felt like the islands were their home. The ocean became their happy place―nowhere in the world would they rather be.
With a deep love and appreciation for the islands and the great outdoors, her children began to question how we care for our beautiful world. It became clear that every aspect of their lives needed to take into consideration how daily choices impacted Mother Earth. This awareness became a cornerstone in the vision for VitaSea . . . .
